Zaber Nucleus Fluorescence Microscopy Platforms
High-speed fluorescence microscopy platforms built for flexibility and high throughput automated imaging
The Zaber Nucleus series is available in two distinct fluorescence microscopy platforms: the MVR Inverted and the MSR Upright. The MVR Inverted platform is designed for imaging samples in well plates or dishes, with the objective approaching from below—ideal for live-cell or high-throughput imaging. The MSR Upright platform, on the other hand, positions the objective above the sample, making it well-suited for thicker specimens, slides, or materials applications. Both systems are fully motorized and modular, offering automated XY and Z motion, filter cube changes, and compatibility with major optical components. Together, these platforms provide researchers and integrators flexible options for building advanced, automated fluorescence imaging systems.
MVR Inverted Fluorescence Microscopy Platform
The Zaber Nucleus MVR Inverted Fluorescence Microscopy Platform is a fully motorized, modular microscope system engineered for high-throughput and automated fluorescence imaging. Designed with an inverted configuration, it allows objectives to approach samples from below—ideal for imaging live cells, well plates, and culture dishes. The platform integrates precision motorized XY and Z motion, automated filter cube and objective changes, and supports transmitted light options such as brightfield or phase contrast. Compatible with leading optical components from manufacturers like Zeiss, Nikon, and Olympus, it also interfaces seamlessly with open-source software like µManager and Zaber’s Motion Library API for custom automation workflows. Combining flexibility, precision, and open architecture, the MVR platform provides a powerful foundation for both research laboratories and OEM system developers seeking to build advanced fluorescence microscopy solutions.
